This Is An Earth Shattering Weekend

March 18, 2010

This entry is really twofold:

a)     an exchange on FaceBook with a wise friend, and

b)    what a vote on ObamaCare really means

To say that any people are not fit for freedom, is to make poverty their choice, and to say they had rather be loaded with taxes than not. ~ Thomas Paine

That’s the quote a friend put up on FaceBook. I responded…

Geesh…where do you get all these goodies?

 He replied…

I read a lot about and by the patriarchs of our country. It is amazing how many of their fears concerning what government could become have come true. So many of their stances were in reaction to the English government, but are oh so applicable to the US government we have today.

My favorites are Thomas Paine, Jefferson, Adams and Franklin.

In their day, the concern was over the uneducated masses not being fit to choose the direction of the country. I would say we have the same problem today except it is not just ignorance, but apathy.  The problem with this mindset is it relies on the education and integrity of the leaders to “direct” the country in the best interest of the masses. 200 years ago this was probably a safe idea, but even they were scared of the corruption that would be upon those given such power. Today we give the power freely to those known to be corrupt and self serving and let them decided issues like healthcare, taxes, and social security. We have become exactly what the forefathers feared.

A friend of his chimed in…

All of what you are saying, I agree with. But I think the framework of our republic has already been ravaged.

Every decade that has passed since the founding of our country, people come into power, run into the troublesome safeguards the founding fathers put in place… and go on to somehow convince us to allow them to modify, alter, weaken, or dismantle those safeguards.

In the big picture, things are no different now than Roman times. We’re still burdened by that thing we call human nature. So far, nobody in the history of the world has come up with a solution for the gradual systemic decay that occurs in any given system when humans are allowed to run it.

Any conjecture by any person that there is a solution for today’s ills would need to include the steps for this human nature issue and so far, none do. That’s because we all have our human nature and own interest tucked away under the covers, and nobody but Mother Teresa wants to give those up.

Then my friend replied…

[“K” from the movie Men In Black, to “J”]  “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the earth was flat, and 15 minutes ago you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.”

Imagine what the world would be like without the personal agendas that screw everything up. I wish I could say, “The person is generous and self sacrificing and the people were greedy and without morals,” but unfortunately, it is the individual AND the people.

The death of “America” if it passes.

I cannot believe the unmitigated gall of democrats – with a healthcare bill rooted in socialism (destroying private entities in favor of replacing them with government ones that cost an extra trillion dollars) – to cram this down American’s throat despite ALL the objections:

  • Idaho’s governor signed a (symbolic) law into effect that will mandate Idaho’s attorney general to sue congress over the illegality of the healthcare mandate if it’s signed into law. 37 other states are drafting similar measures. There is nothing in the constitution that allows government to mandate healthcare insurance for citizens.
  • The public is overwhelmingly against this un-American power grab. In fact, every study has shown that the more people know about it, the more they do not support it! If the democrats had the support, this would’ve been a done deal last summer. They don’t have the support (the votes), so…
  • Democrats have to come up with a “back door” plan (BUDGET reconciliation) to pass ObamaCare without the standard 60% votes. THAT may not work, so they have to go to the …
  • Slaughter Solution” (so named after congresswoman Louise Slaughter). Aptly named for the way ObamaCare will slaughter freedom and private enterprise, the “Slaughter Solution” is a rules change that allows the bill to “pass” the house without a vote at all.

I am not for the “status quo” in healthcare, and I DO favor reform, but ObamaCare is a turn to something our Founding Fathers never dreamed of.

“How can we come to a place where we suspend all common sense, and expect to survive?” – Glenn Beck.

Thomas Paine wrote “Common Sense” in 1776, and he derided the model of a tyrannical king that is the sole distributor of laws and “benefits” (originally confiscated from taxpayers). King Obama is telling you that only he (and his democratic minions) know what is good for you, and you’d better just say “yes” to their healthcare mandate and accept whatever pittance he throws your way. Common sense HAS been suspended, and democrats wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s in their best interest to keep people dumb, and promise them the world, rather than tell them the truth: ObamaCare takes away your freedom, your money, and cannot deliver what it promises.

Yet there is an uprising: millions and millions of voices saying “no” to this abomination disguised as “healthcare.” God help us be successful in crushing this evil, dehumanizing monster.

“This is an earth shattering weekend,” I heard on the radio this morning as I’m told the house will likely vote on ObamaCare on Sunday. Considering the size of “heathcare,” (1/6th of the economy I’m told), then nearly EVERYTHING hinges on this vote. Future taxes. Education funding. School curriculums. Workplace benefits. Illegal Immigration. Everything.

If you’ve never made a call to your congressperson, now is the time. It’s very easy, takes only a minute, and the staffers who answer treat you well. Please make a call now.

  • Contact the media (radio, TV, blogs, FaceBook) and don’t let up until the vote.

The problem with ObamaCare is it tries to guarantee something that cannot be guaranteed: life. Life is inherently instable, and ultimately will end. Socialized healthcare says, “No matter what happens, we’ll take care of you, and it will cost you nothing.” And that is where the democrats and the left are wrong: ultimately they can’t guarantee your health or life, and it will cost us EVERYTHING!

The future of freedom  and our republic depends on rejecting ObamaCare style of health reform.

What Happens When You Ignore the Truth

March 18, 2010

Check this blog headline:
MSNBC, CNN beaten by Cartoon Network in Ratings Game…

Know why? Because they’ve abdicated their journalistic responsibility to keep watch over government, and instead have openly declared their love for a socialist (democratic) agenda. And Americans see it, can’t stand it, and have voted with their remotes.

Long live freedom!

To HELLthcare in a Handbasket

March 8, 2010

The goal of the democrat’s plan is to totally dismantle the insurance business, and force all of us into the (yet to come) public option.

Maybe you missed this. I did until listening the radio today. Under the Senate plan that will probably go for a vote this week US Citizens will have to pay a fine of up to $5,000 for not having health insurance. Businesses with over 15 employees will have to pay up to $3,000 (I suppose that’s “per employee”) for the uninsured.

Considering that the Senate mandate is that insurance covers you no matter what the accident and no matter what pre-existing condition you might have … Why would ANYONE buy insurance? You pay your annual “fine” and get insurance when you have a sickness or injury. Employers won’t cover you; The fine is way cheaper than covering an employee. Except for the very healthy, it is more cost effective for EVERYONE to not pay for insurance, and then just get it when you have to.

Considering the caps that the Senate bill wants to put on insurance companies, and the fact that nearly everyone will NOT pay (or at least the SMART people will not pay) until they have to, AND that pretty much everything has to be covered no matter what … without a doubt this will bankrupt insurance companies. Which is exactly what Obama democrats want.

House leadership has hinted that passing the healthcare bill will be a “first step” and they will try to add a “public option” after it gets passed. And with the collapse of the insurance industry, we will all need it.

And just like that, government will be in charge of your healthcare. And we won’t have a competitive option to turn to regarding coverage OR costs. And the “magic healthcare” that the Senate bill is proposing (where EVERYTHING is covered for EVERYONE and the costs go DOWN) doesn’t exist.

And if you think that government healthcare will be different, then consider this: Medicare, Medicaid, and the VA are all government run healthcare institutions, and they routinely turn people down all the time. That, and they are shown to be 24% less efficient than similar private hospitals. Why should they try to save money? They don’t have to. They are propped up by your dollars and a promise from the government that they will always provide for the elderly, the poor, and our veterans.

But that’s an empty promise, because they system is bankrupt. Forcing TONS of people into a government program will make it MORE bankrupt, not less.

For now, we should stop this monster. Voice your opinions here:

  • Contact your congressperson. Another link is here. The Senate is done, right now the issue falls to the HOUSE and you should contact your representative, but it wouldn’t hurt to send a message to your Senators or the president himself: president@whitehouse.gov. The capitol switchboard (ask for any legislator) is 1-202-224-3121
  • Tell others, don’t be shy. Use FaceBook, Twitter, or your own blog (and link to this if you’d like).
  • Contact the media (radio, TV, blogs) to let your voice be heard

This may be the point in America where a huge government takeover of 1/6th of the US economy drags us down into they abyss of socialist countries everywhere. Or it could be the point where we face reality, pay our bills (instead of increasing our debt ANOTHER 1.5 trillion), and use market driven systems to sharpen the greatest healthcare on earth into something that shines.

And when the dragon is slayed, consider the pro-citizen (as opposed to pro-government) ideas here:

Underwear Bomber / The Right Response

December 28, 2009

Regarding the Delta Flight 253 successful passenger response to a Muslim attempt to blow up a plane over the US on Christmas: I have little to add to the following common sense links, except our nation will probably not do the right thing – profiling certain Muslims – until a few thousand – or a few million American citizens die under the banner of politically IN-correct ideas.

Muslim TSA agent searches a nun. I wonder if the “underwear bomber” would get past her.

Healthcare Facebookin’ with a Happy Socialist

October 17, 2009

This may shock you, but I have liberal friends. Extremely liberal friends too. This one is from Denmark, a country of 5.5 million that is probably the most socialist in Europe. And she’s just delighted that it is so. We have great friendly exchanges. I think she’s crazy; she thinks I’m nuts. Here is some dialogue off our FaceBook accounts.

First: She voted “yes” in the “Are you in favor of universal heathcare?” poll. You’ll laugh as I tell you that I checked “yes” too … I just don’t want government to do it. Then I commented on her post.

We already have universal health care. Ask any illegal alien receiving “servicios-gratis” in another one of the soon-to-be-shutdown bankrupt hospitals in Southern California.

And

39% yes, 16% no, 44% hell no. I would be ALL FOR IT if it was handled outside the inefficient, overbearing, nanny-state federal government. What if the hospitals that offered free service (not just ER visits) for low income / uninsured people got tax breaks? That’s ALMOST like “government run” healthcare, but without the top down bureaucratic madness inherent in any government system. Maybe hospitals and medical centers could COMPETE for these tax breaks, by serving a greater percentage of uninsured in the community … I see efficiency brewing!!

Second: She sent me an article about insurance reform, that I actually sympathized with. See? I’m not the cold “let ‘em die” Obama-opposer the liberal lamestream media would have you believe. I just don’t think that government should be in the healthcare business, except for a TINY bit of regulation.

That was a GREAT article, and really highlighted the strong need for insurance reform. See? I value “reform,” but I still don’t want “government healthcare.” Medicare, Medicaid and the VA are statistically much more wasteful than private systems. They don’t have to be efficient: they don’t have to, ‘cuz it’s just taxpayer money, and government takes care of it.
I think I would be open to more insurance regulation (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?) But we should START with “portability” and “individual” pools, and make them competitive over state lines (currently prohibited by the federal gov’t).
And let’s get real: if we STARTED years ago with “tort reform” we may not even be having this discussion!

And

Question on that last one: in Denmark, is there tort limits? Can a Danish citizen sue a doctor or hospital for millions in “pain and suffering” and a “lifetime of lost wages”?

She replied…

I think they can, but it has yet to happen. As a healthcare provider you are insured through your workplace or union, so we do not have to pay insurance against malpractice out of our own pocket, only if we work out side the system, in some kind of private facility.

And its my blog, I get to have the last word.

First: “It has yet to happen”? How come people who are the victims of gross negligence don’t seek redress (at least to have consequences for the provider that made the mistake)? Is it because the actually can’t? Second: How many people operate “outside” that socialized system? Very few, I’m sure.  I’m sure the Danish government makes it is WAY too expensive to thrive outside the government system. And that is where the government owns you. On that note, I came up with a new “rear window sign” idea:

I’m here to bring you hope!

But it’s gonna cost ya,

So give me your wallet.

Hope you have to pay dearly for is not hope;

it’s slavery painted as “good intentions.”

Obama Fully Deserves the Nobel “Peace” Prize

October 9, 2009

From Wikipedia, this is under the heading for Alfred Nobel

The erroneous publication in 1888 of a premature obituary of Nobel by a French newspaper, condemning him for his invention of dynamite, is said to have brought about his decision to leave a better legacy after his death.[2] The obituary stated Le marchand de la mort est mort (“The merchant of death is dead”) and went on to say, “Dr. Alfred Nobel, who became rich by finding ways to kill more people faster than ever before, died yesterday.”[3] On 27 November 1895, at the Swedish-Norwegian Club in Paris, Nobel signed his last will and testament and set aside the bulk of his estate to establish the Nobel Prizes, to be awarded annually without distinction of nationality. He died of a stroke on 10 December 1896 at Sanremo, Italy. He left 31 million kronor (equivalent to about 1.8 billion kronor or 250 million US dollars in 2008) to fund the prizes.[citation needed]

The first three of these prizes are awarded for eminence in physical science, chemistry and medical science or physiology; the fourth is for literary work “in an ideal direction” and the fifth is to be given to the person or society that renders the greatest service to the cause of international fraternity, in the suppression or reduction of standing armies, or in the establishment or furtherance of peace congresses. There is no prize awarded for mathematics.[4]

It appears that Alfred Nobel – the inventor of dynamite – wanted a better legacy to leave. Therefore, in the last years of his life, he dedicated the rest of his estate to awarding people who made notable contributions to “non warlike” contributions to the earth.  Obama probably fits in the “fraternity” category, and fits the spirit of Alfred’s final wishes to hand out daisies, unicorns, and rainbows to the world. Here’s why Obama probably deserves it:

  • Freeing up terrorists from Guantanamo in the efforts to appease Islamic radicals.
  • When overseas, he disrespects US troops by not showing up to support them, but perhaps only for minutes to have his picture taken with them for personal promotion.
  • Pulls out of plans to support a missile defense shield for our allies, leaving them vulnerable, but removing the missiles leaves the impression that we’re not “war like.”
  • Sworn enemies of the United States love him: Every terrorist group (who had something to say about our election) came out in support of him. Jihadi fraternity, Obama style.
  • Announces to the UN his utopian dream of a nuke-free world … and says the US will lead the way in disarming ourselves in the face of a hostile world, like…
  • Talking … talking … and more talking … and more threats of more tough talking with maniacal Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, while Ahmadinejad plows on as fast as he can to get a nuke to bomb that “disgraceful blot” Israel and threaten the world.
  • Apologizing to the world for our “arrogance” (that clearer heads would call, “saving our allies butts from annihilation.” France: give me an “amen.”)
  • Ensuring our failure against al-Qaeda and the Taliban by not only ignoring the generals on the ground, but chastising them for making troop requests known. How peaceful is that? It’s peaceful to the world, because when we stop shooting, terrorists gain ground, and we mustn’t offend jihadists bent on subjecting the world to Islam by appearing non-peaceful to the world.
  • There are more examples I haven’t listed, and Barack Obama’s driving philosophy indicates more examples are on the way.

The Nobel Peace Prize is worthless now anyway. Alfred Nobel’s thinking was flawed; it assumes that if you play nice with everyone they will play nice back. History has proven over and over and over again this is not true. Nobel’s logic denies evil. Evil does exist, and it preys on ignorant people who placate it. The peaceful people stand up to bullies and protect the little kids’ milk money, even if they don’t have to actually throw a punch. That is what ensures real peace.

totally temp

If this prize was worth anything, Benjamin Netanyahu would get the prize for standing up to evil psychotics in his own midst. Harry Truman and Winston Churchill should get it for their efforts to thwart the Japanese and the Nazis. The Nobel Committee is being true to Alfred Nobel’s wishes, but it is not being true to “peace.”

I’m no longer shocked that Obama won the Nobel “Peace” Prize.

“Fake Peace” pats the arm of “Real Peace.”

So, Obama gets a Nobel Peace Prize

October 9, 2009

I have only one question:

FOR WHAT?

He has NO real accomplishments,

except becoming the first black president of the United States.

Although that’s a notable accomplishment,

it hardly rises to the level of a Nobel Prize.

In fact, because of his lack of accomplishments,

giving Barack the Nobel Prize has greatly cheapened the prize itself.

The Nobel Prize is now nearly meaningless.

If you have ANY reason why Obama should receive this,

Please leave a comment below stating WHAT he has DONE to deserve it.

An Open Letter to My Senator on Healthcare

October 8, 2009

I admit that I’m a little harsh in this one, and in some spots I seem irreverent. But this could be the pivotal point in my life where I tell my kids “this is where it all went downhill.” And we have an opportunity to bring us back from the brink here, so I have to let it all out before the vote comes. May God help us all.

Dear Senators,

I am against this bill that’s being rushed to the Senate floor.

  • Government shouldn’t be in the business of directing healthcare for the nation. THAT IS NOT GOVERNMENT’S BUSINESS. There are MANY ways that “reform” can be handled by the private sector. See Bobby Jindal’s Washington Post article here.
  • 2/3 of doctors don’t support this bill. That should tell us something! The president’s photo op was a farce. This is NOT what is best for patients!! Yet democrats insist on pushing this bad legislation anyway? WHY IS THAT? Is it because you think you know better, and all of us plebeians are stupid? How arrogant. That is the only reason I can see for continuing to push this bill that it seems that most free thinking Americans don’t want: arrogance.
  • The “public option” is particularly nefarious. Good thing for you that big government also likes to keep our kids stupid in public schools. Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that if a “public option” is in the mix, it will NOT have to truly compete with private options, but government subsidies will consistently undercut the private options until they are out of business. Not to mention all these “uninsured” will HAVE to chose the public plan (for economic reasons). There is NO WAY that Obama would let a “public system” fail. He has banked too much on that, and he WILL use my money to subsidize it, and cause the downfall of the entire free market American health care system. Which brings me to my next point:
  • Government systems suck. Not just the failed socialist examples of western Europe, but right here in America we have Medicare / Medicaid / VA … ALL of these are HUGE WASTERS of money, and every other day I see a new report on TV about the waste that goes on here. If Obama and democrats want us to believe in their system, they should start with these government systems that are in place now, and make them really attractive. As it is, they are an embarrassment, and it just PROVES THAT GOVERNMENT SYSTEMS DON’T WORK. At least they don’t work well. But – given your record – I’m fairly confident you’ll still try to push this “un-wellness” down our throats.
  • I love the idea of “universal care for all.” That is so utopian. We DO care here in America that much. But it will drag the quality of care down and push taxes way up. Obama wants quality care that is affordable for all. But when you add 30 million new “customers” and make co-payments really low, you will have a rush on the system that will crush us. It will crush us. There are free market solutions (such as tax incentives for clinics to cater to a certain percentage of uninsured) that will NOT crush us. And conservative ideas – that have so far been almost completely rejected by democrats – can be implemented gradually.
  • And we can’t just give healthcare to the world. Again, I am ashamed that democrats won’t put a line in the bill about “no healthcare for illegal immigrants.” We just cant give away healthcare to 12 million people. And Joe Wilson was right: Obama lied. Otherwise democrats would have put a line in the bill about it so Obama could be a man of his word.
  • Tort reform. You and your fellow democrats are just money whores on this one. 90% of trial lawyer candidate support goes to democrats, so you just wont cut off the hand that feeds you. Shame on you for sacrificing what is good for America for the good of your political career. Tort reform alone could be the one thing that drastically reduces prices for every single American, and makes all the other health care goals attainable, but democrats wont even put this one on the table. And I am ashamed of them for it. Here is my promise to you: if YOU introduce radical “Tort Reform” into the democrat’s idiotic plan, you will have my vote next election. Lawsuit caps will drastically lower insurance payouts, which lowers malpractice insurance for doctors everywhere, and lowers the cost for every single American. Oh, and this only will happen in a truly competitive market, so I’m sure if Obama has his way, he’ll make it impossible.
  • We cant pay for this. We don’t have the money. “Healthcare reform” as democrats have planned is a recovery killer. I will hold you personally responsible if you continue pushing it. It is IRRESPONSIBLE to blast all Americans with mammoth new taxes (which the CBO has said WILL happen under the democrat plan).

Democrats wonder why there is all this resistance out in America to their plan. It’s because we see through it, to the radical power grab that it actually is. This is not “healthcare reform;” it’s “life control.” The democrat healthcare plan is sick! I’ve read the bullet points, and I don’t think there is ANY redeeming value in it. If you think there IS, let’s introduce some individual points and not go all out to tuck all Americans under big governments regulatory wing. It’s un-American and wrong. This big plan as it is should quietly die.

Healthcare reform as a free market system costs almost nothing by comparison. All a conservative approach does is unshackle the system as it stands from the constraints that make it inefficient. Let’s see insurance become “individual,” “portable,” and able to be sold across state lines. Let’s see radical “tort reform.” Lets see a move to electronic records (and computerized searches for fraud, waste and duplication). Let’s use what works well in one state, and transplant that to another. Let’s stop healthcare for illegal immigrants except in the case of imminent life threatening situations. Let’s free up Americans to actually apply “choice and competition” and show the world a system that really works!

Please stop this nonsense!

Two Out of Three Doctor’s Surveyed …

October 6, 2009

Do NOT Support Obamacare.

A picture’s worth a thousand words. I love this shot (from the NY Post). Obama’s staffers are handing out white lab coats to make the hand picked doctors who support Obamacare look more “doctor-ish” for the cameras. Does that make you want to get behind the monstrous takeover called Obamacare?

Doctor photo op

This should tell you almost everything you need to know:

  • Most docs are not supporting Obamacare (statistics below)
  • This whole “doctors on the white house lawn” thing was for show…
  • Because this huge government takeover of the most intimate part of your life (your health) is on it’s deathbed.

At this photo-op the president lied (again): “When you cut through all the noise and all the distractions that are out there, I think what’s most telling is that some of the people who are most supportive of reform are the very medical professionals who know the health-care system best.”

That is utter nonsense. The facts don’t support that lie. (According to an Investor’s Business Daily poll):

  • 2/3 of doctors are against Obamacare. That’s sixty-six percent, or rephrased, “two out of three doctors prefer freedom, choice, and competition” to the big government regulation socialist takeover of one sixth of the nation’s expenditures.
  • 45% would consider quitting if Obamacare passes. After all, since the free-market model will be replaced with a communist style democratic plan, doctors would probably be able to make the same money fixing up Harley’s.

The American Medical Association supports Obamacare. BUT 86% of doctors say that the AMA is now too political and out of touch with the doctors it represents. It figures AMA supports big-government takeover, they’d probably get a kickback.

Look, your health is your business. Discuss it with your doctor. Your health has to do with everything you do. Everything. It is not just that government will control and regulate 1/6th of the economy if the democrats have their way. They will be able to tell you how to live. Really. Right now your kids can’t go to school without proof that their vaccinations are up to date. Multiply that times 100 if Obamacare is in place. If the government controls your healthcare, they can tell you what jobs you can take, and under what circumstances. Sound far-fetched? What if the democrats apply health care tactics to another huge government takeover project: the environment. They could dictate that it is too hazardous for humans to be working on oilrigs, coalmines or nuclear reactors, and then they can regulate strict (unnecessary, or unreasonable) protections for workers that make producing energy too expensive for companies to produce those things on a cost effective basis to consumers. And if employees don’t comply with the government health-based mandates for those conditions: well, then they don’t get health insurance. Oh and if they don’t have health insurance, Obama’s going to charge them 2.5% of their income as a fine …unless you’re an illegal alien of course, in which case you get a pass and “free” healthcare.

Universal healthcare sounds great because we care that much. But if we do it with a big government takeover, you will regret it with your life.

Can we do it with American values under a free market system?

Yes we can!

The conservative alternative doesn’t require a 1,000 page pile of new regulation that has to be passed in the middle of the night when no one is looking. It’s so clean, honest, and good it can be proclaimed in the daylight. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has written an excellent piece in the Washington Post. It is the best, most concise version of free market, conservative ideas that will really work I’ve ever seen. This plan LIBERATES people from the shackles of government, giving them the individual benefits that come with that, and DOESN’T add the RESTRICTIVE shackles that democrats are saying is necessary to accomplish their power grab give you what you need what they know has never worked well in any country where its already been tried.

Read Bobby Jindal’s piece here.

Again, it’s excellent. He says that the democratic plan for healthcare is over (and you know it is, nearly no one wants it), and it’s time for conservatives of all colors to turn the corner, and go on the offensive with a clear presentation of plans that free people to enjoy better healthcare at lower costs and less government intrusion.

Contact your congress people, and tell them the giant socialist healthcare takeover is over. Send them a copy of Jindal’s piece. And – get this – we can institute these principles gradually, one at a time. I suggest we start with tort reform, and I suggest what Jindal didn’t in his piece: that we use healthcare principles that have worked well in some states, and transplant them to others that are floundering.

But you get the picture. It can be done, and it doesn’t have to be done all at once. Let them know you support a free market solution that liberates us, not shackles us, and one that actually works.

Once again, here’s your contact information:

  • Contact your representatives to put pressure on him to reject Obamacare and protect your individual liberties. Complete list of congress’ email and fax numbers here. Another “contact congress” option is here.  Make a call! The capitol switchboard is: 1-202-224-3121.
  • Let Obama know that you’re done with his plan, and it’s time to work with republicans (for real) and conservatives of all colors to make a change to “free market” solutions.
  • Contact the media (radio, TV, blogs) and help them know more.
  • Talk with your friends about the free market principles outlined in Jindal’s piece. Link it on your FaceBook.

I welcome your comments below as well.
